Hello! I’m Cameron,
and it’s a pleasure to share my passion for art and painting with you.
I have over 14 years of painting experience under my belt. It started with my father nudging me to do something fulfilling and productive with my time. My father was an artist, so he set out a basic acrylic painting set and gave me a quick lesson on basic color mixing and cleaning up brushes. With his encouragement, I started painting for the first time since junior high art class.
Over the years I became increasingly interested in painting and invested more time in studying and practicing. My main sources of inspiration are Mother Nature, my imagination, the lovely people around me, and the work and lives of my personal art heroes.
Today I paint primarily with oil paint, hands down my preferred medium, and have produced dozens of finished paintings, including several large pieces. I was hired for my first commission work in 2017 and have been hired for more on a regular basis since then. I am grateful for those opportunities, and it motivates me to continue the work towards being a better painter and to improve the service I offer clients.
My artwork is created using high-quality paints, supplies, and materials, which look great and are designed to stand the test of time.

including you, my friend! I love to paint, no doubt, but I also love to share what I know about painting and all that goes with it. We can work together to bring out your inner artist, improve your skills and knowledge, and help you create beautiful art that you can be proud of.
There are no rigid rules in art, but there are principles and methods we can apply to put ourselves on a clear path to becoming a better artist. The process is more enjoyable, the results are more gratifying, and the rate of improvement is faster when we learn and borrow from the master artists who have already tread that path. This is still art, so experimentation and freedom are encouraged…
Whether you’re a beginner wondering how to get started, a practiced painter hoping to level-up your skills, or somewhere in between, I have been there too and will personally work with you to reach your art goals.
I offer private lessons and workshops for groups or individuals, and will cater to your preferred learning approach and skill level. My lessons are focused on oil and/or acrylic painting, with core principles that can be applied to any 2D visual art, including graphite on paper & digital art.
