I’m Cameron,

I am 36 years old, working as a product manager for a local manufacturing company, and around 12 years ago I decided to get serious about improving my painting abilities. Over those years, I poured much of my spare time into studying the work of masters old and new, learning a range of techniques, improving my skills of observation, and (of course) doing a ton of painting. I gradually started to make artwork I was proud of, and eventually people became interested in having my artwork for their homes and businesses.

Since then I have been fortunate enough to have my artwork hanging in multiple business offices, homes, and other collections. I have won several awards (including best of show and peoples’ choice awards) for my artwork in the Verdigris Valley Art Exhibit, a regional Southeast Kansas exhibit.

Today I continue working & studying, creating paintings for commissions and also painting what speaks to me on a personal level. Like with most things in life, there is always more to learn! Speaking of which, I have come to learn that I enjoy teaching art, and I would love to share what I know about painting with you. Part of my mission is conserving the appreciation and practice of painting, and I hope to make painting approachable and fun for artists of all ages.

I was born and raised in Kansas where I reside today with my amazing wife Krista, our darling daughter Phoebe, and our two dog and two cat companions, Sloan, Kudra, Elaine and Felix.
