Commission a Painting

I will create a special, original painting just for you. It could be a painting based on a treasured photo, a vision in your mind that you’d like brought to life, a master copy of your favorite classic artwork, or anything in between, we can make it happen.

If there’s a painting in the gallery that you like but it’s already claimed, we can always arrange painting a similar original for you too.

Commission details

Oil paint is my preferred medium for achieving the best results. Canvas size options range from as small as you’d like, up to 36” x 48” (larger works may be possible, depending on certain conditions). Pricing will depend on size and subject matter.

Lessons & Workshops

Learn to paint and/or improve your painting skills with private lessons for yourself, a friend or family member, or a group.

These lessons will be catered to your current skill level and preferred method of learning, with the goal of making the process as fun as it is productive. Let’s make something beautiful together!

Lessons & workshops details

We will start with a free consultation to get acclimated and figure out where you are now in your art journey, and create a roadmap for where we’re going and how to get there. This will cover the basics such as identifying your current skill level, making a list of required materials, etc., and we can also discuss your inspirations, what sort of artwork you aspire to make, and formulate a plan. From there we can meet up, in person or virtually, and get started! Not only will I show you what I know, but I will show you how to practice and study on your own too.

My expertise is in oil and acrylic painting, and these lessons are primarily focused on working with those types of paint. The core principles (composition, perspective, drawing, color theory, etc.) apply to most two-dimensional visual arts, from pencil drawing to digital art, and I can also offer general art lessons for those interested in other mediums.

Painting Parties

As the name suggests, these are parties where we paint together! I’ll be your guide, giving step by step instructions, as everyone in your group follows along to make their own acrylic painting. Fun is priority number one at a painting party, so get your friends, family, coworkers, or all three together with your favorite drinks & snacks, and we’ll have a great time getting creative.
